Cancellation policy
How to stop paying us
Two clicks, no phone call, no retention offer, and no step that signing up did not also have.
Pluto Care is a reference build of a telehealth platform. No live service runs behind it: no account can be created, no payment can be taken, and every patient in it is synthetic. This document is written as the one a deployment would publish, and it describes how the software actually behaves — but it binds nobody, because there is no operator and no patient on either side of it.
The two clicks
- In your account, open Subscription.
- Choose Cancel subscription and confirm.
That is the whole path. There is no cancellation flow that routes to a phone number, no retention offer to decline before the button appears, and no requirement to state a reason. If the account itself is unreachable, write to support@care.plutohealth.com or call +1-555-0100, and cancellation is effective from the time your message arrives, not from when someone reads it.
When it takes effect
- Immediately. Cancelling stops all future charges. There is no notice period and no cancellation fee.
- The month you have paid for is yours. Care-team access and clinician messaging continue until the end of the period already billed.
- Medication already dispensed is not recalled. A shipment that has left the pharmacy has been paid for and is yours; a shipment not yet dispensed is cancelled with the subscription and not charged.
- Your record stays. Pluto Care Medical, P.C. retains the medical record for the period its state licences require. Cancelling a subscription is not a deletion request; the privacy policy covers those.
Refunds
- Before approval, nothing is charged. Payment details are taken only after a clinician approves treatment, so an application that is declined has nothing to refund.
- If you are found ineligible after a charge, it is returned automatically. Without a request, without a form, and without a support conversation. A refund that requires the patient to notice is a refund the category relies on nobody noticing.
- A month already used is not refunded. The $99 care fee buys clinician review and messaging for that month, and cancelling on day 29 does not undo the care.
Pausing instead
A dose gap, a holiday or a supply problem does not have to end the subscription: pausing stops billing and holds your titration position, so restarting does not mean starting at the entry dose again. Pausing is offered as an alternative in the same place as cancelling — it is never inserted before it, because a pause offered as an obstacle is a retention flow wearing a helpful face.
The terms you agreed to, in full
This is the auto-renewal disclosure exactly as it appears above the consent control when an account is created. Its hash is stored with your consent, so these words can be reproduced later rather than inferred from whatever this page says at the time you ask.
Pluto Care bills one subscription: a $99 monthly care fee plus your medication at the manufacturer self-pay price for your dose. Nothing is charged today, and this questionnaire never asks for a card. Payment details are taken in your account after a clinician approves your treatment, and the first charge happens then. If you are found ineligible, you are charged nothing and any amount already taken is refunded automatically, without a request. The subscription renews automatically each month on the same date until you cancel. Your dose can change your medication price; the new monthly total is shown before any dose change is submitted. Cancel any time in two clicks from Account → Subscription → Cancel subscription. Cancelling stops all future charges immediately, and the cancellation policy sets out the timing in full. Card statements show PLUTOCARE.
